Will there be any chance LC get a nearby hotel price break?

I went to Gateville and checked out everything this past weekend. There is a Ramada and a Best Western as well as a couple of locally owned hotels. I did ask about a group rate and did not find any that were willing to give a rate break. With close proximity to Ft Hood - we just pale in comparison to the military related visitors they have.

If there is any retired, or active duty military coming; there is a Holiday Inn on base. I got a good price on base for the weekend.

Just called today. The hotels are getting full.

Last I called, the Gatesville Inn still had rooms.

You might give them a call.

Temple is not too far away - plenty of hotels with rooms there. If you stay in Temple, you will still need to "drop down" into the AO from the NORTH. Entering the base from the SOUTH or Killeen side is a no go.
What have you got that a man could drink with just a minimum risk of blindness and death.
