On this day...

Post by HKurban »

In 1993, 15 years ago, several hundred Rangers, Delta Operators, and other US Servicemen underwent a mission to bring an international criminal to justice and help bring peace to a wartorn country. 19 of those men did not come home. This weekend Col. McKnight is touring the country to visit the final resting places and to console with the families of these heroes who gave it all. Please take a moment of your time to pray for his safe travels and for the souls of these brave heroes:

1st SFOD-Delta (Delta Force)
-----------------------------
SFC Randy Shugart
MSG Gary Gordon
SSG Daniel Bush
SFC Earl Fillmore
SFC Matt Rierson
MSG Tim Martin

75th Ranger Regiment
-------------------------------
Cpl Jamie Smith
SPC James Cavaco
SGT Casey Joyce
PFC Richard Kowalewski
SGT Dominick Pilla
SGT Lorenzo Ruiz

160th SOAR "Night Stalkers"
-----------------------------
SSG William Cleveland
SSG Thomas Field
CWO Clifton Wolcott
CWO Raymond Frank
CWO Donovan Briley

10th Mountain Division

Please salute and pay tribute to these heroes, who are gone, but not forgotten, in your own personal way before you continue to go about your day. These men are what Irene is all about.

Thank you for your time.
