Camp Wolverine Required?

Post by Brett » Mon Feb 16, 2015 7:11 pm

I have several members that have never attended a Lion Claw event before and would like to attend this event since it is in our backyard, but I now see that it is now required that all minors that have not attended a LC up to this point must now attend Camp Wolverine?

Is there a waiver for this process?

I just got the OLCMSS e-mail in my inbox today and it indeed looks like Camp Wolverine is a new requirement starting 2015. I would suggest that you e-mail you question to John Lu if you would have/want an exception (jlu@olcmss.com) for a faster response.
2015 requires that all NON ALUMNI minors go through Camp Wolverine (see http://www.oplionclaws.com go to FORUM, scroll down to Camp Wolverine, not all regions are ready, read ready regions). Ages 14+ (including adults who are new to Airsoft and wish to learn). Non Alumni minors who are ROTC, Police Explorer are exempt.
The first and closest Camp Wolverine in our area is in PA in July.
